To clear something up, however, we want to make you aware that our diets are not suitable for long-term or year-long use. These specific plans are designed for weight-loss newbies who want to kick start their journey. These diets will provide the initial push you need to gain momentum and transition to a sustainable, health-focussed diet plan. A diet will never be the long term answer to health problems.

How is the Isagenix diet structured?

We’ve made our diet as straightforward as possible. Nutritional Cleansing System takes an easy approach to body cleansing: drastically reducing calories for a short period of time and then implementing healthy calories, macronutrients, and natural extracts to promote health and weight-loss. This approach pushes your body to burn excess fat, and then gives it the time and nutrients it needs to recover, promote healthy development, and maintain your results. What Constitutes as a Reasonable 400-600 Calorie Meal

It’s pretty clear that we aren’t being too specific about the 400-600 calorie meal. It can be as healthy or unhealthy as you want it to be. Because we don’t provide it, we can’t dictate what you should consume. That’s based on your preferences and the food available to you. However, if you want to ensure success, we’d encourage you to seek out a meal high in protein, fats, carbs, and micronutrients. In addition to aiding with weight-loss, these nutrients will keep you feeling full despite the caloric deficit.

Protein

Not all proteins are created equal. It’s important that you choose high-quality, low-fat options such as atlantic salmon, grass-fed beef, chicken breast, turkey, or plant sources. Protein will help ensure fullness, while also providing vital nutrients to encourage weight loss and muscle development.

Fats

Even though you’re trying to burn fat, it’s still important to consume them. Just remember that there are good fats and bad ones. As your meal replacement shakes don’t contain any fats, it’s important to get your daily dose of healthy fat via your mid-day meals. Carbs
